Photography: Documenting Self-Portraits

I have recently seen a lot of photographers creating a diary of themselves through the medium of self-portraits. I love this idea of taking a photograph of yourself every day for a certain time period (or forever), and looking back on the photographs and events which have occurred – also looking at how much you change in that time period. Two examples of this I have found inspiring are by photographers ‘Jeff Harris‘ and ‘Rosie Hardy‘. I love this idea and would love to try something like this myself!

    Hey Hannah, I saw this post and thought that this video might be relevant to you. It’s not self-portraiture but the concept of a picture every day is still relevant and the change is more apparent because the time is from birth to 10years. :)

      Wow, that’s so good! Wish I could do something like that, really clever. I’ve seen quite a lot of people on youtube doing it with facial hair growth :P
